Diana is available for both video conference and in-person mediation. Parties can book a
half-day or full-day mediation.
Diana is a dedicated professional, understands complex litigation, and is fully engaged in helping parties resolve their litigation. Diana looks forward to working with you as a neutral facilitator.
Mediation is an effective step in the litigation process. There are numerous benefits to resolving disputes through this process.
At mediation, parties have control over the outcome of their dispute, and a settlement achieved
through mediation ends the uncertainty, cost, and stress
of ongoing litigation.

RATES
Half-Day Mediation (3 hours)
$1200 plus HST
Full-Day Mediation
$2000 plus HST
The above rates include preparation time but do not include expenses for mediation facilities. The cost of facilities, catering and other expenses will be an additional charge.

Cancellation Policy Charges
For cancellations made more
than 5 days in advance of the mediation, there is no
cancellation fee.
For cancellations made less than
5 days before the scheduled mediation date, the cancellation fee is $500.00 plus HST.

DIANA DIMMER BIO
Diana has over 35 years of civil litigation experience, having appeared before all levels of court including the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Diana has both private practice and in-house government experience, most recently as the Director of Litigation for the City of Toronto. Diana’s areas of expertise include personal injury claims, police claims, building claims, contract disputes, municipal liability claims, neighbour disputes, Occupiers’ Liability Act claims, and professional liability claims.
Diana has extensive practical experience handling a broad range of civil litigation including participating in numerous mediations. Diana has had training as a mediator and recently completed the Mediating Disputes program at Harvard Law School. Diana brings this extensive experience to assist parties in resolving their disputes through mediation.

Diana was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Toronto from 2014-22 teaching Municipal Government Lawyering and is the co-author of the text Professional Liability in Canada.
